Brantwood’s Work-Abilities program helps people to discover ways they can earn money and find the best employment option.  No matter what barriers they face, our Work-Abilities program can assist them in achieving their employment goals.

  • Volunteer community opportunities
  • Discover self- employment and developing a business plan

What is Work-Abilities?

  • Educational, hands on opportunity for people with disabilities to gain employability skills and discover the various ways they can make their own money. 
  • Provides individualized and more intensive support to explore a variety of employment opportunities
  • A free service, funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

Work-Abilities Can support you to:

  • Identify your skills, interests and talents.
  • Develop employability skills
  • Gain on the job experience
  • Create a work profile to market yourself to employers.
  • Discover the type of employment that works best for you.
  • Develop a plan to reach your employment dreams.
  • Support you throughout your employment journey
