February 28, 2019, Brantford, Ontario – For the second year in a row, Brantwood Community Services has been awarded the Canadian Nonprofit Employer of ChoiceTM Award.
The Canadian Nonprofit Employer of Choice TM Award recognizes organizations from across Canada whose leadership and vision translates into exemplary human resource practices resulting in a positive environment and quality outcomes for people.
Brantwood Community Services, (www.brantwood.ca) employing over 245 professionals, is recognized as a leader in developmental and autism services for transitional aged youths, adults and their families. Brantwood offers a full range of residential supports; recreation, employment and life skills development programs; a seating clinic and kinesiology services; and a variety of passport and respite services. In October 2018, Brantwood opened the Abilities Centre, a community hub, in partnership with the Alzheimer Society of Brant, Brain Injury Services, Twin Lakes Clinical Services and Lansdowne Children’s Centre.
